Animal Welfare Summit 2025

The Garden State Animal Rescue Center is proud to host the first-ever New Jersey Animal Welfare Summit on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at the Marlboro Municipal Park Complex, 1996 Recreation Way, Marlboro, NJ 07746.

This landmark event will feature a keynote address and a panel discussion with Animal Rescue and Animal Shelter Executives, a Local Councilmember, Animal Control Officers, and Humane Law Enforcement Officers.

The discussion, “Breaking Barriers: Building Collaboration Across Animal Welfare,” will explore:

• Reducing stigma around shelters and animal control

• Strengthening community partnerships

• Advancing humane policy and public education​
