The Garden State Animal Rescue Center was founded in 2018 to care for the community’s homeless, neglected and abused animals.
The mission of Garden State Animal Rescue Center, in affording respect to all animals, aims to improve their welfare and quality of life by providing rescue, veterinary care, enrichment and shelter. To provide affordable spay/neuter and TNR programs. Commitment to work with volunteers and rescues to save animals. To provide community outreach programs to further educate the public on animal wellness and the prevention of animal cruelty. Our goal is to place animals in suitable, loving and permanent adoptive homes.
Our Vision is to be firmly established throughout New Jersey as a leader in the animal welfare community in all things related to animals. We will be responsible for ensuring that all animal cruelty is prosecuted and will increase our support of campaigning for the rights of animals in NJ. We will be a strong partner with other animal welfare organizations in order to develop and share best practices and to work together to make NJ a place where every animal is treated with respect, kindness, and love.
Facts about the Garden State Animal Rescue Center
The GSARC is a non-profit organization. We rely entirely on donations, grants and what is earned through adoptions and medical services to fund the many programs we provide.
The GSARC is not affiliated with any other shelter or animal welfare organization.
The GSARC is an Open Admission organization. We do not euthanize adoptable pets. We are proud and pleased to have adopted this policy since our founding; it enables us to save countless lives. However, since adoptable animals stay at the shelter until they are able to find the right home, the added financial and manpower burden is expected to be enormous.
The GSARC provides services that improve the quality of life for all citizens of the community, not just for pet owners. In addition to animal adoption and surrender services, the Garden State Animal Rescue Center provides the following services to the community (read about them on our Services page): Spay/Neuter Clinic, TNVR, Animal Control, Humane Education and Lost and Found.
We need your donations now more than ever. Help us continue the important work of serving the people and pets of New Jersey, please send a donation today to: Garden State Animal Rescue Center, P.O. Box 212, Manalapan, NJ, 07726, or donate online.
The animals thank you!
